Story
Gifted poet, life coach, mental health advocate, and author, Wendye began writing poetry at an early age. She penned award-winning poetry in various contests held at St. John Baptist Church in Buffalo, New York. She also penned a weekly poetry column in the Jasper Sun Times for six years, as well as a poetry column in Bronze Magazine online, for one year.
Wendye is no stranger to adversity. She has been delivered from a history of Major Depression, abuse, low self-esteem, and low-self-confidence.

A trained representer for The National Alliance on Mental Illness, Wendye has shared her books and testimony on various radio, television, and magazines, in hopes to reduce the stigma of mental illness.

Wendye is also the author of two inspiring collections of poetry entitled One Sweet Day and After the Rain.
