Every year people overcome the challenges of mental illness to do the things they enjoy. By developing and following a treatment plan and effective coping strategies, you can dramatically reduce many of your symptoms.

NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group is a free, peer-led support group for any adult who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. You will gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others, and the groups are led by trained leaders who've been there. For Young Adults Connections, visit here

NAMI Peer-to-Peer is a free, eight-session educational program for adults with mental health conditions who are looking to better understand themselves and their recovery. Taught by trained leaders with lived experience, this program includes activities, discussions, and informative videos.

NAMI SC Peer Leadership Council
The NAMI Peer Leadership Council (NAMI PLC) is made up of people who have lived experience with mental illness. NAMI members who have a mental illness bring diverse opinions and perspectives to the organization.
NAMI PLC honors the opinions of all members when providing input regarding support, education, advocacy and policy issues.
