Authors Statement
While Christine (Mikala) was growing up, I was not aware that there was a disorder called Dissociative Identity Disorder and the term never came up during her childhood. When she was finally diagnosed with the disorder as a young adult, I tried to find a book on this disorder in children. I could not find a book about being a child growing up with the disorder or a mother raising a child disorder. That is why I wrote the book.
